Osborn dies are made "in house" by CNC and EDM technology after having been designed with the help of advanced software. Die materials are chosen to suit the application and in particular the loading and wear characteristics of the extruded profile. A major consideration in any die design is the avoidance or management of areas of vulnerability as in the example below.
